The wonderful thing about keeping sheep and breeding them is creating carefully planned crosses. However, the accidental crosses can be interesting too(!?!).
A spinner might be looking for wool that has the same bulking quality as Shetland but a little longer in staple but perhaps with a little lustre like a Wensleydale sheep making a good quality cross breed is perfect. However, you might prefer spinning wool from pure breeds, Is that you?
