I have a small flock of registered pedigree Black Wensleydale sheep. My stock is from Albourne and Millhouse bloodlines. There are some interesting shades of fleece in the Black flock. The occasional lamb comes up for sale.
Textile interests from fleece to final product are being developed through the Woolcraft and Wensleydale Group. This is a small informal group of Wensleydale breeders in Sussex and Kent, working together with skilled craftspeople to produce high quality yarn and finished products.
We have now achieved a range of limited edition worsted yarns suitable for shawls, scarves, baby blankets, and some craft work.

We have also designed patterns which uniquely suit the handle of the fibre to go with the yarn for our shawls, etc. Items can also be ordered hand knitted.
